The location is absolutely breathtaking, with jaw-dropping views of limestone rocks. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The snorkeling right off the jetty is mind-blowing, with reef sharks and turtles swimming right next to you. The beach is beautiful, especially during high tide. The bungalow, Rumah Laut, offers the best sea view and a spacious private terrace. The beach BBQ was super delicious and a must-try. Free wi-fi, electric kettle, air conditioning, breakfast, bar/lounge area, restaurant.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The staff are super friendly and accommodating, the food is delicious, and the chalets are jaw-dropping with French doors and ocean sounds. The island itself is stunning, with crystal clear waters for snorkeling and even a chance to see sharks and turtles. The location is perfect, with clean beaches and a long jetty to enjoy the water at any tide. An unreal experience!

I had such an amazing time at this all-inclusive private resort in Tioman Island. The sunset views from the Dragon Bar were breathtaking, and the Malaysian cuisine at the on-site restaurant was delicious. I even played darts and soaked up the sun.
Oh, and who doesn't love the sound of the ocean and the air conditioning. they were definitely not disturbing at all.

Converted into a beach bum! Bagus Place Retreat gave me an authentic barefoot experience. I soaked up the sun, enjoyed Malaysian cuisine, and even played darts. The friendly staff made me feel right at home.
Monkeys stole my sugar and pineapple juice. How dare they have a taste for bright colors.

During our recent stay at Bagus Place Retreat, we had a truly unforgettable experience. The location was absolutely stunning, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty and crystal-clear waters. Snorkeling right by the resort was a highlight, especially when we had the chance to witness the feeding of the magnificent sharks in the evening. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and were always ready to assist us in any way they could. The inclusive package for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was delicious, offering a wide variety of tasty local dishes. The cleanliness of the resort and the well-maintained beach added to the overall charm of the place. We also enjoyed exploring nearby attractions like the Coral Island, Waterfall, and Fisher Man Village. Bagus Place Retreat truly provided the perfect setting for a wonderful getaway.

The hotel's decoration was lovely, with a charming and cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The general areas of the hotel were well-maintained and clean, perfect for senior people like me to relax and unwind. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility was excellent, with ramps and handrails in place to assist senior guests in getting around easily.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive and considerate towards the needs of older guests.

Came for the authentic holiday experience of going barefoot & was not disappointed. The Dragon Bar offered great cocktails with stunning views. Loved the convenient amenities & delicious Malaysian cuisine. Played darts & soaked up the sun at this perfect hotel.
Oh, just the small inconvenience of having to walk across the resort for drinking water and coffee. No big deal, right?
